You should contact an emergency dentist as soon as possible if you have a severe toothache, knocked-out tooth, broken or cracked tooth, dental abscess, facial swelling, uncontrolled bleeding, or a lost crown or filling causing pain. Prompt treatment can often relieve discomfort, prevent infection, and improve the chances of saving your tooth.

Yes. Dr. Marielaina Perrone makes every effort to provide same-day emergency dental appointments whenever possible for patients experiencing urgent dental problems. If you're in pain or have suffered a dental injury, contact our Henderson office immediately so we can evaluate your condition and provide the care you need as quickly as possible.

If your permanent tooth is knocked out, gently pick it up by the crown (not the root), rinse it with clean water if necessary, and try to place it back into the socket. If that's not possible, keep the tooth in milk or saliva and contact Dr. Perrone immediately. Treatment within the first 30 to 60 minutes offers the best chance of saving the tooth.

Yes. A severe or persistent toothache may indicate a deep cavity, cracked tooth, abscess, or infection that requires prompt treatment. Delaying care can allow the problem to worsen and may increase the risk of needing more extensive treatment. If you have significant dental pain, schedule an emergency evaluation as soon as possible.

If a crown, veneer, or filling breaks or comes loose, contact our office as soon as possible. Avoid chewing on the affected tooth until it can be evaluated. In many cases, Dr. Perrone can repair or replace the restoration before additional damage occurs or sensitivity develops.

With more than 25 years of experience in restorative, cosmetic, and emergency dentistry, Dr. Marielaina Perrone provides prompt, compassionate care when unexpected dental problems arise. Whether you're experiencing a painful toothache, broken tooth, lost restoration, or dental injury, our goal is to relieve your discomfort quickly while preserving your long-term oral health.

Patients throughout Henderson, Green Valley, Anthem, Summerlin, Las Vegas, Seven Hills, and surrounding Southern Nevada trust Dr. Perrone for personalized emergency dental care when they need it most.

Until you can be seen, keep the affected area clean, avoid chewing on the injured tooth, and take over-the-counter pain medication as directed if appropriate. If swelling is present, apply a cold compress to the outside of your face for short intervals. If a tooth has been knocked out or broken, save any pieces and bring them with you to your appointment. Prompt treatment can often improve the outcome and reduce the risk of complications.
