Dental Bonding uses a tooth colored resin material that is applied and cured with a special dental light, which creates a long lasting bond with the material and the tooth to restore or improve a person's smile. Dental bonding is used in cosmetic dentistry to repair cracked or chipped teeth, improve the appearance of discolored teeth, close spaces between teeth, change shape of current teeth, as a cosmetic alternative to traditional fillings. Dental bonding can transform your smile in just one visit.
Dental Implants Including All On 4 Dental Implants (Teeth in a Day) have become one of the most popular, and predictable procedures for tooth replacement offered in dentistry. Dental implants have been proven to be safe and successful for long term replacement of missing teeth. Dental implants are an artificial tooth root (usually made of titanium) that a periodontist or oral surgeon places into your jaw to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth. What can dental implants do? Dental implants can replace a single tooth, be support for a bridge, or as support for a denture (making it more comfortable and secure). Dental implants are a major part of cosmetic dentistry today. Only you and your dentist should know you have dental implants. We are also proud to offer the All On 4 Dental Implants system. A revolutionary, new system of restoring teeth in a day.

Oral Surgery or extraction is the removal of a tooth from the mouth. Extractions are performed for many reasons, including tooth decay that has caused destruction of enough of the tooth to make the tooth unable to be restored. Wisdom Teeth extractions are routinely performed if they are impacted or infected, as are tooth extractions of some permanent teeth to make room for orthodontic treatment.
We are pleased to offer the revolutionary early detection Oral Cancer Screenings system, the Velscope. This amazing technology has saved countless lives by being able to diagnose oral cancer at the earliest possible stage. We use the Velscope at every dental examination. It is painless and takes just a few minutes.
We welcome all children into our practice starting at the age of 1. The earliest visits will include education on caring for your new child's teeth as they erupt and the schedule at which tooth eruption will occur. Pediatric Dentistry covers kids of all ages from age 1 to 18.
Dr Perrone believes that Periodontal Disease Treatment should be treated in the least invasive and most cost effective way possible. Patients who are noted to have periodontal disease will be recommended for a deep cleaning (usually with anesthesia) along with the use of Arestin. Arestin is an antibiotic placed below the gumline and into the pocket to help facilitate healing. In most periodontal disease cases this is enough but we do offer further periodontal procedures if necessary to combat periodontal disease. This includes Emdogain (a bone and tissue growth factor), dental bone grafting, pocket reduction surgery, and crown lengthening procedures. We are also proud to offer Periogen (tartar dissolving oral rinse) which helps minimize tartar buildup between appointments.
All ceramic or all Porcelain Crowns provide the best natural color match than any other crown type (also suitable for patients with metal allergies). Porcelain crowns are an excellent choice for front teeth where we want a more cosmetic outcome. All porcelain crowns are made using your own custom color to match your existing teeth. This allows your final result to be seemless and undetected. We use the finest, strongest, and most modern materials such as Procera and Emax porcelain crowns.
Porcelain Inlays and Porcelain onlays can be made of laboratory cast porcelain or gold. These pieces are bonded to the damaged area of the tooth. A porcelain inlay, which is similar to a filling, is used inside the cusp tips of the tooth. A porcelain onlay is similar to the porcelain inlay but extends out over one or more of the cusps of the tooth to provide more strength to weakened teeth. Porcelain inlays and porcelain onlays allow for less tooth removal than a porcelain crown or PFM crown (porcelain fused to metal) while providing the same strength.
Porcelain Veneers (also referred to as porcelain laminates) are super thin, custom fabricated shells of tooth colored porcelain designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your smile. Porcelain veneers are adhesively bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, width, and/or length. Versatile and very strong, porcelain veneers are used in a variety of ways to transform your smile, from complete smile makeovers to repairing a chipped tooth. Porcelain Veneers are made from a high quality dental porcelain that has similar light reflecting properties as our own natural teeth. Porcelain veneers are excellent at resisting stains and they mimic our natural teethís light reflecting properties. Porcelain veneers are the cosmetic dentistís greatest tool for elevating a normal smile to a Hollywood smile makeover.
This can include full dentures (including all on 4 dental implants), partial dentures, replacement of single teeth, and the cosmetic Snap On Smile
Root Canal Treatment is needed when decay has progressed into the nerve of the tooth. Root Canal Treatment involves removal of the nerve from the center of a tooth and the dentist then proceeds to seal the roots closed. This can prevent the onset of a painful infection in the nerve that may spread into the bone and surrounding tissue. Root Canal Treatment can also treat an infection that has developed into a dental abscess
